Minot dodgeball trailer

Before I go about my way to the forks, I leave you with a new dodgeball trailer. Not any ordinary trailer like for the video, but for a tournament. It's an entire minute shorter than the first one, but this one is insanely better. I really outdid myself with this one, watching it I get goosebumps, which defines a good trailer. You guys are so lucky to check out this blog, otherwise you might not have seen it.

Wrap your socks around your ankles, cause they are about to be rocked the hell off.

Strategies

All right, we need to organize.

I hang out at dodgeballer.com so when one of their topics about "strategy" came up and it received almost 45 comments...I had to read.

It was pretty good, I encourage all the other rogers to read it and we can form a team strategy from it later. My personal favorite was the "endurance" plan. Our weaker throwers go up and just kind play with the opposing team, causing them to try to rush us and tire themselves out. Halfway through the game our strong throwers step up and mop up. Brilliant.

you can read it here.

Now read it, then comment here, I sense an actual discussion going on in the comments...unless you're all fags.

Mandan Update

I finally figured out the times for the rest of the league.

April 4th- 7:45 Vs Mooseknuckles

April 11th- 7:00 Vs Westside

April 18th- 7:00 Vs STQ

April 25th and May 2nd- Single elemination tournament

The mooseknuckles and Westside are the 2 top rated teams in the league, STQ is in dead last. I think if we can just hold our own and go 5-4 against the Moose and West, we can come out on top in this league. But that's just me, I have something called "faith," but im crazy like that.

At the end of the league I have a feeling the Underground is going to open up again. Let the people know...

U-Mary Tournament update

The gold has been acquired, the Jolly Rogers are indeed the number one team in all of Bismarck. Now if we could just get that "State" title....

We got "God's child project" T-shirts, $40 at the Green mill, as well as a shiny gold trophy. Hopefully by the end of the year we'll have enough trophies to make a decent stack.

Bye week this week for the mandan league.

Mandan League Update

Next Week (March 28) The Jolly Rogers have a bye. So No D-ball to those who are wondering, the week after however, we play the Mooseknuckles.

*Dramatic Sports Music Ensues*

Our Arch-Rivals, the Mooseknuckles, will meet us on the Dodgeball battlegrounds on April 4th. I can feel a tail gate party brewing in me already. BECAUSE THIS IS GOING TO BE THE GAME OF THE CENTURY.

If you're interested in keeping track of the JR's in their pursuit for Gold in the Mandan League you can follow it here every week.

For the record their rules are gay and so are the balls. So that would explain why we're not in first.

Also below are the "rules," I use that term loosely, for the U-Mary Tournament on March 25th. Its really more of an activity planner than anything else. Read it below, that is all Rogers, now rest up, we have victory to attain on Saturday.
